◆ Overview
What is the Friendsgiving Cookoff?
The Friendsgiving Cookoff is a Sunday-afternoon community competition where cooks, elders, grandparents, students, and culinary storytellers gather to prepare dishes that carry ancestral memory and modern Indigenous flavor into one shared meal.
Whether you’re bringing a great-grandmother’s cornbread, a modern fusion plate, a vegan family staple, or a signature dessert — every entry is a chapter in the story of Indigenous foodways.
Judges will honor taste, cultural story, presentation, community impact, and creativity — but the true prize is the table we set together.
